My past experience in film and other industries has given me the capabilities and expertise to create scenic atmosphere a motion picture needs from a Set Decorator. Early in life I was exposed to working with shooting crews and was fascinated and intrigued by the process and structure film making takes to create the visual entertainment to achieve its final viewing product. Working with world recognized photographers, being on stage, and working in front of the camera has mentored me to have the visual and atmospheric need to decorate on a deeper level. 

              

               For over fifteen years I have consistently worked in the Art Department. I recognize that my previous work experience have provided me the skills to be a productive and positive team member. From research, breaking down costs and budgeting, to understanding the logistics and communications needed to manage crews with time efficiency. I understand the importance in delegating and communicating to my department. My experience in owning and operating my own business in building and project management, I’ve learned to manage, supervise, and meet deadlines. I’ve dealt with money management and disbursements, accounts receivable, estimating and preparing bids on tenders. 

                    

               My training and experience has given me comprehension of drafted floor plans and concept plans to creating mood boards.  In respect to having worked in various fields and my love of history and travel, I can achieve recreating a look and an atmosphere that is desired aesthetically.     

              

               My past and current experience in working with various fields, has given me the added edge in the world of design. I anticipate and look forward to always grow in the creative, vibrant world of the visual and decorative arts.
